About the series

In this series Jonathan takes a tour of the futuristic Lloyd’s Building in London to reveal an unexpected 18th century surprise. He also uncovers the link between Britain’s World War II fighter planes and London’s iconic Routemaster bus and explains why Parisian artists initially hated the Eiffel Tower.

PPM Production was commissioned by BBC Culture and the series premiered on bbc.com/culture during 2015.

An aditional 30min programme was broadcast on BBC World News TV in January 2016.
