About The Show
Presenters Spencer Kelly and Lara Lewington guide an audience of 400 people to the cutting edge of science and technology - with demonstrations, experiments and performances from the world's most exciting technologists including NASA and the European Space Agency.
My Role
As the director of BBC Click Live, it was my role to lead a large team of producers, presenters and contributors to create a stunning live experience.
I ran the rehearsals and the live shows, always ensuring that our creative ambition and programme budgets were being met.
Editorial Impact
I worked closely with the senior BBC Click editorial team to maximise the impact of the shows - editorially and creatively - for both the live audience in the BBC Radio Theatre and the 350 million viewers on BBC World News and the BBC News Channel.
Balancing the needs of a huge team of producers, technicians and contributors is never straightforward, but I love feeding off the teamwork and dedication that only a live show can produce.
