Private Eye Magazine turned to PPM when the prestigious Paul Foot Award for investigative journalism went virtual in 2020.
The Paul Foot Award was set up in memory of revered investigative journalist Paul Foot. The award ceremony is normally a lavish affair at which the winning journalist delivers a speech to their peers.
When Covid-19 forced the event to take place online, PPM assisted Private Eye to recreate the traditional celebratory atmosphere and to showcase the extremely high standard of nominees.
The ceremony was streamed on Private Eye's social media channels.
Congratulations to the winner, Alexandra Heal of The Bureau of Investigative Journalism, who was awarded the £5,000 prize.
